Yes, this was my 5th time installing it. All 5 times I torqued down the nuts evenly. I even whipped out the torque wrench to make sure they were all the same spec.

Tony, do these fit up with 2014? I realize the 2014 is identical to 2009-2013, but the website does not include 2014.
Also, these are manual telescope? or power?
I've got a 2014 FX4 Luxury Supercab.

ok here is what i did.... with the door panel off of couse the main harness that goes to your windows and door locks there is a green/purple trace wire
i simply spliced into this wire and ran a new wire to the purple wire to the truckside mirror harness
now what i did with the purple wire i just cut it and taped off the truckside and connected to the mirror side. Im not 100% sure but the passenger side should be the same. I didnt pull that panel off and look.
The way i did it everytime your key is in the on position you bottom light on your mirror turn signal will be on, so in other words it will be more of a DRL vs parking light which i liked. Doing it this way i didnt have to run extra wire from the fuse panel.

I fought the passenger mirror taking it on and off several times. The factory foam got it fitting just fine.
