I have the tow package, just not the max tow. I think max tow has a bigger tranny cooler and 3.73 gears. I have less payload than a limited.

Same truck but 145" wheelbase. 1822 payload.

Seems Lariats have less payload; probably because of the weight of the truck itself. I think many people are surprised by this; and sometimes after the fact.

Ooh 2013 MaxTow and heavy duty payload pavkageI with 2099lbs stickered in the door. It was a lariat 4x4 with moon roof and navigation, tailgate step and factory spray in Bedkiner but no side bars. I was hoping to be closer to2350 on the payload, but obviously options pull that number down. I had heard two tone paint cost you 7lbs.

I have a XLT, crew cab, two tone paint, those retractable side steps, hd package, bucket seats and nerf bars. My sticker on the door say 2260 max payload. Added a bed liner (80lbs) and the trailer ball and slide in hitch (20 lbs).

I've got a 2013 157" SCrew Lariat with 502a, max tow, 20" wheel, off-road, bed step. My sticker says 1514.

I just got my order week (Aug 5), guess I'll know in a month or so exactly what my payload is, fingers crossed that is ~1700

Will pick up my truck on Friday, to my relief, the magic number on my door sticker is 1739

My buddy just picked up a 2014 Ram Laramie Longhorn Edition Crew Cab 4x4. He was showing off all the bells and whistles it has...very nice truck. I showed him my payload capacity sticker: 1739.


I asked what his was, we looked and he was stunned.... 919 lbs. Ford FTW!!
