Confused on towing (I'm new...)

I finally gave up on that and am now in the middle of buying an F250 King Ranch. So for me, my F150 could probably tow my 33ft trailer fine, but I didn't feel safe, so I'm not taking any chances. Especially since we want to make long trips with our trailer.
Again - I may be overreacting to the test drive, and it's probably all in my head. But that's where I'm ending up.
Thanks again for all the advice and information. I would have been completely lost without it.

You did a test drive, you didn't like the combination, no shame in that. Getting out with an RV is about relaxing and having a good time with family and friends SAFELY. It's not a trailer pulling contest. For me the relaxing starts when I pull the trailer away from the house. If I can't enjoy the drive, How will I enjoy the trip?
Good Call IMO!

Make sure you check the available payload on an F250 King Ranch (or platinum or Lariat). More Bling and extras = less payload. If it's a diesel, you may be back in 1/2 ton payload territory.
