Boat Pulling
Question for you guys... I have a friend that's buying a Rinker Fiesta Vee 270. Online it says the boat is about 7240lbs. He is getting a tri-axle trailer with it. I have a 2012 EcoBoost lariat with 3.73 ratio. Nothing else additional towing wise except the trailer brake controller. Can I pull it? Anyone else have boat experiences? Thanks in advance

Sag is dependent on how the trailer is set up and how weight is distributed. It all just depends.

With a triaxle trailer, you should have hardly any tongue weight, maybe 5%. Shouldn't cause much of an issue. You should tow it like a champ.
Just like started above, you won't rocket around with it. The wind resistance on a hull that large its your biggest obstacle.

That boat with a full tank of gas loaded on a tri axle trailer will probably be over 9000 lbs ready for the water. The brake controller will most likely be useless as everyboat trailer I have seen has hydraulic surge brakes. I would think you would have no problems towing it but you will be at the upper limits of its towing capacity

Not sure what is wrong with surge?? As long as they are adjusted/set properly, they work perfectly. The brakes on the trailer need to stop the trailer and allow the truck brakes to stop the truck.
With that heavy of a boat, you will be OK with the EB you have. No max tow needed. I recommend strongly using mirror extensions.
