70mph? What are your tires rated for?
I too set my cruse at 70mph in Utah & Idaho...

My ST tires are rated for 81mph

Watched the video again. To me, it looks as if the Excursion driver over corrected after drifting too close to the center line. From the action of the trailer, it may not have been weight balanced well.

I looked up the trail. If it is the model I think it is. ~7500lb empty, 11k GVW, 31'length(box only?)

to me it seems there probably was no WD hitch judging from the sag.
