6ft vs 7ft wide trailer
Hey,
im looking at a enclosed trailer, and i know the F150 is 6ft wide. I am wondering what the difference in gas and drag would be like if i jumped up to a 7ft wide. Im looking at either a 6x14 or a 7x14, both ramp, single axle, wedge nose.
im enjoying my 21mpg that i got with just the truck full of gear, no trailer, so i would like some insight as to what im looking at for 7ft wide.
My truck is a 2011 5L XTR crew.
Thanks!

I have a 12 eco with 3.73 and a 7 x 14 Tandem as well and with 2 sport bikes and gear for the track I get 14.8.
I need to pick up some tow mirrors so I can see behind the thing, if you need the space I would go 7 but if you don't I'd do 6 just so the truck and trailer are same/similar width.
