Okey-dokers.
I think I have found the truck, that will put all minds at ease. I am going to the dealership to look at it on Saturday.
The only unfortunate is that it is white. Not even my 5th color choice, but I can add some graphics to it in about a year with some saved-up money and make it more palatable/presentable.

3.5L EcoBoost 3.73 E-Lock
GVWR: 7,850#
Rear GAWR: 4,800#
MAX Payload: 2,496#
Is there any other mathematics that I need to factor into these numbers, for safety sake ?

Sounds like a good choice! I just traded my 2011 super crew equipped similarly to yours (7700 GVW 3.73 LS diff as elocker was not available) and it towed our 6900 GVW TT all across the continent a few times (even seeing Smokeywren out in west Texas) without complaint! kept the oil companies in the black while towing but reasonable for regular driving. I felt that it was about as much as I would pull with that setup. The new one with 3.55 Elocker has a better ride probably due to longer wheelbase and 7050 GVW but I haven't set up the hitch yet so can't report on results. Ours was white over silver , not my first choice but it grew on me...There was a large Ford dealership out in Slave Lake that did a big business in trucks and had an outstanding service manager that knew trucks inside and out but I'm pretty sure he retired about 5 years ago. I don't suppose you are anywhere near Joussard ? !!
