Who's towing significant amount of weight with a 2018 5.0?

I do. 32ft travel trailer, 7600# gross weight (about 950# tongue weight). 100# WDH, 200# of cargo in the bed, 2 adults, 3 kids (600# of humans) in my 2018 XLT 5.0 screw HDPP, yellow sticker at 2446#.

Note when reading Mtber's response, that he's using 1,850 pounds of payload. He also has a HDPP truck with 2,446 pounds of available payload. Most F-150 owners don't have 1,850 pounds of payload...

well, most non-XL F150s, you mean. Plenty of STX guys have that or better!

Nice bullet, we almost bought one till we came across a deal on a cougar too good to pass up. I cant believe how many ppl have small payload ratings on their xlts or higher. Ive got a 2016 xlt sport pkg with a payload of 1889. Not barebones either, quite a few options on it. Curious if it has something to do with it being the sport pkg. Sorry for going a bit off topic!

Definitely. Luckily I'll only be towing at very most a 6k lbs travel trailer

At 1889, it is probably not a screw 6.5?
