my G-pa had one of these "hawk" in a 05' f150 super cab, 4x4 6.5' bed. never asked about how it pulled but he drove all over with his bass boat in tail, the west coast with that thing and i never heard a complaint. also had FS ride rites in the rear

My 2014 HDPP SuperCrew came with load range E tires.

Mine also with E range tires. The requirements are 2,400lb capacity tires (Rear axle CWR is 4,800lb). That corresponds most closely to load range D but those are pretty hard to find.
