Again the OP did not have a sway problem, just side movement from passing trucks. I doubt that improper WD would cause what they describe since the combo is stabile otherwise. I’ve noticed that most here that are having issues have the shorter wheelbase trucks.

Think about buying a Propride hitch cheaper than a new truck the trailer doesn’t wag the tail but when a car and I mean a car passes me it makes my truck and trailer move the front of the truck goes left and the front of the trailer goes right

I hadn't noticed that before, but I think the picture is playing tricks.

Just like the first picture, at first glance it looks like the trailer is nose high, when in fact, when measured to the asphalt, the trailer frame is 1.5" lower in the front than the back.

I am curious though, so maybe this weekend I will hook it up again and take a look.

Too bad I already blocked up the trailer in my barn for the winter....

Here is a close up (zoomed in) of the same setup, on the road. I think it looks better here.

I wonder if what is throwing it off is the tilt on the head. Remember that the head is tilted, and the shank is level.

My hitch has 6 washers installed. I think that's okay right?

It could be exaggerated in the hitch picture but it still appears tilted towards the truck in the other. I had the same thing with my Equalizer, vertical play in the receiver required more washers to get the tilt right. I posted in another recent thread about how I resolved it which was to drill another hole in the shank so it went further in the receiver. The industry standard is to put the pin hole 3 inches back from the end of the shank, some manufactures put the hole in the receiver to far forward. The result is that the shank is doesn’t reach through the receiver all the way, this gave the shank a lot of play both vertical and horizontal. I had to raise the ball up one hole and remove a washer with the new position.

Thanks! I'm going to look into that this weekend. I've got time before my next trip (March 2018) to drill a another hole in the shank.

I'll see if I can find that post.

I noticed that also, its almost like the hitch is pointing up a little.
