My dealer has ordered Mirrors FL3Z-17682-AD and FL3Z-17683-AD to install on my XLT....it was part of the deal... and I was thinking on ordering the switch SW7441 to enable the power fold/extend. My mirrors are power/heated/signals now. Do you think the power fold/extend will work with the switched replaced?

I'm working on this right now. I have an XLT with tow mirrors, but not power fold/extend.

I purchased a set of power fold/extend tow mirrors and the switch and have them installed, but the fold/extend function does not work. All my other functions, puddle, spot, heat, signal work fine as expected.

I'm early in my research on what to do at this point so I don't have a solution yet.

Thanks, The mirrors are in and the switch will be in tomorrow. The dealer is installing ( as part of the deal ) on Monday and I'll let you know how this works.

Please let me know how this goes. Presuming your XLT did not have power fold from the factory, I'm guessing it won't work. If it does, I really need to figure out what I've done wrong. If he had to program something, I'd like to know what he did.

Now I need the correct 22 pin harness to make this conversion work. My dealer is looking into the correct harness to make this work. Does anyone happen to know the part number of the door harness???

There is a thread here about harnesses, but I don't recall a part number being given.

I would find the VIN for a well optioned truck and use that to search fordparts.com. If you give a VIN, it only returns parts for that VIN.

If you don't mind, next time you talk to your dealer, ask what the plan is for re-programming the truck. If he has a cheat sheet or directions for making it work, I could use that.
