Default 2014 with Factory Tow Package Question

I have a 2014 with a factory tow package and I am trying to find out if I have to do something extra to make the trailer charging system work?

check your glove compartment. There should be a block fuse (black if I remember correctly). Should also be a piece of paper with which position it goes into.

Guys, correct me if I'm wrong please. Thanks

Yes, there's a fuse and relay in the glove box in a plastic bag. Pop your hood, open your power distribution box, and look in your manual (if you don't have the paper in the bag with the relay). It will tell you exactly where they go. Just did mine a couple weeks ago. Can't remember the positions, and my wife has the truck as I'm writing this, so I can't check!

Ok, sounds easy. I do have a bag in the glovebox, I will do that tonight.

I love this forum, thanks. I also have that fuse in a bag in my glovebox. Once the temps get above -4 I will go install it.

I've had to do this on every F150. I don't understand why they don't just put them in. What's the harm? Seems crazy to me . . . .

I agree, I put mine in but have not tested it.
