I don't know for sure. Maybe on some wheelbases it might, but I know ALL 157" trucks like mine come with the same frame as the HD Payload trucks by default.

EDIT: No it looks like there is only one frame size for each wheelbase of the non-HDPP trucks. Max-tow has no effect.
