I have a #7100 TT wet Dutchmen - I have found a 2013 4x4 XLT Supercrew with 5.0 V8. #1725 cargo limit. Will this truck pull this size trailer and what type of mpg (9 mpg) will I get average

I have the same truck with a 7000 pound TT. It pulls it with ease. I Average 9 mpg.

my only question would be what gears?

I've got 3.73's and no issues pulling my 6500# TT.

I have 3.55.

I pull with a very similar truck with 3.55s and a bit higher payload but pretty close. I pull a 7500 to 8000lb 3 horse GN trailer and it does just fine. I usually get about 10 mpg or a bit better towing at 65 to 70mph.

That's pretty awesome. My last trip was from South Texas to Louisiana. It was about 420 miles, and my first time pulling my TT. I was a little worried about the tall bridges. I used the tow haul button. It down shifted and had no problems. I'm headed to the Hill Country this weekend. I'll be able to see how it handles there.
