That depends on the Trailer Smokey, my 3H Gooseneck empty has 1060 on the pin, loaded it's only about 950 to 1100 depending on what we take with us. My trailer is very stable and weighs between 7 and 8K loaded, depending on how much I am loading for a show. We stay under GAWR for both axles, not by a lot but under and she tows real nice.

So I bought the truck, we picked it up today. The GVWR is 7200lbs. The payload is 1404lbs. So this truck may do for now, but if we ever upgrade to a larger trailer we may need to change trucks.
