Wasn't there a flap a few years ago about some tires blowing the side walls out due to under inflation?. Seems to me the tires are made with the correct pressure of max on them but don't recall seeing a min or just over looking it. I will air mine close to the max when I tow to make them perform as they were engineered. Ford didn't make the tires and the manufacture didn't pick out a ford truck to be the only thing for them to work on imo. the tire doesn't know or care what its on only that its in the weight range it was designed for. Safe travels for all of us.

Yes. I do 40 unloaded and the max 50 when towing. I've had excellent results. I've got 65K on the tires now and expect at least 5K more before the tires will need replacement. I do rotate every oil change.

Most tires have a max inflation listed on the sidewall. It's advised to stay below that number. I've traditionally used 40-45 psi on XL and Eload range tires on my 1500 trucks. My dad's 2500 calls for 55# front and 70# rear.
