Some minor desktop changes coming

Just want to add in one observation; is there a reason why now, the Last Post column is so wide? I think that if you shrink it down by at least 12 the size and make the actual Thread column wider, it won't look so congested and then most thread titles will fit on a single line and not two, just my .2 cents, thank you.

If you start out typing out a response in Quick Reply, the same option to go into Advanced Reply is still there as well.

Since I'm posting - the mobile site is still contaminated with page-takeover ads. Unusable.
It is the best F150 site, it just got less enjoyable. I'm so new that I feel bad complaining.

We have actually been talking about better sizing the Last Post column to include more information.

Why do you opt to sign out of your session? I'm just curious as we're learning some members only choose to sign in when they're posting. We have no problem with this per se, but you're not getting an ideal experience if you view the site logged out as you're served a significantly larger number of ads.

We've been struggling with the mobile ads since Christmas. We low-key recommend an ad-block software for your phone.

We can't save your settings if you log-out. Even if we did make a toggle for signed out users, you'd still have to toggle it every single time--since you're not logged and we're not logging those cookies.

I clear my browser history every day or two because otherwise things seem to get loaded up and slow. That is not an ideal experience either. Also, I just don't like letting the tracking software get a free ride for too long.
The ad-blocking apps want access to all of your phone data. Location, contacts, etc.
I know that the ISP's probably track and sell all of the my internet history anyway but an app that is collecting and "using" all of that data is also transmitting it which is taking up bandwidth. More clutter, slowing things down. It's a dilemma for everybody.

I love the infinite scroll function. I can go through a whole thread on my mac without clicking anything.
Super fast on my PC and very useful...
Thanks for the improvements... As you see you cannot please everyone all the time but you appease the majority you have done well....

I dont know if they indeed have appeased the majority, but IF they have they have done well.
When Ford redesigns the F150 I'm sure their goal is to appease the majority. But every year I read on these forums how the new grill is ugly, the new tail lights are horrendous..etc...
Its very subjective and some changes benefit the PC users at the cost of the mobile users. I only use the PC for this forum so my perspective is quite limited. I have no idea how the mobile app works or doesn't for that matter.
I think overall it is cleaner looking and flows better, using on a PC..
