We've rolled out a new photo uploader that makes adding images to threads and posts much, much easier.
1. Start at the same place, by clicking the "Add Image" button in the editor.
2. You can drag & drop from a folder, open and browse to choose images, or just as always--add a URL.
3. The images will then upload to your album in the gallery, from which you can pull these images in the future for other threads.
In the upper right-hand corner, clicking "Reorder Images" will allow you to move your images around into the order you would like displayed in the thread.
Now we have images in the thread!
PART II: Adding existing images
Open the Add Images as usual, and click on "Add from Albums"
Scroll through the bottom and click on the images to add them
Choose your images, and click insert to add them into your post!
horrible, doesn't work properly on IE 10 running windows 7 pro. it cuts off right below the insert URL line. can't scroll down (mouse, arrows or space bar) to cancel or insert.
Would like to be able to insert photos from my IPhone when sending a PM. Let's fix that as most if us use phones to communicate on this Forum. Just my thoughts.
Thanks for the feedback guys. The issue with the page not scrolling once the window pops up is a new one and that should not be happening.
We will fix that and have it working as it should. With the current issues it may seem useless but on every other site this has been received as the single best forum improvement in years as the stock attachment system is miserable. We are looking into enabling the uploader in the PM system as well and will keep you updated as it does work with a mobile device.
In regards to mobile app, an all new application is coming this Fall as the current one became too much of a mess to fix properly and we started from scratch with something much much better.
