I tried changing my profile picture a while back but it never changed. Whenever I try to go change it, it appears that my desired one is already my profile picture, but it's not when on the normal forum.

Profile picture and avatar are two different pictures. Both have different size requirements as well. The photo by your name in posts is your avatar. The profile photo is the one users see after clicking your avatar.

I have a really dumb question, but how do i even add a profile picture? i've been looking for 15 minutes and have no idea. I'm new!!

Some sites you need min #posts or time on site to put in a pic/sig etc
