XtraLargeTall's XLT Build Thread

Just went through the entire thread, love the wheel setup and LED bar in the engine bay. I have the same Raptors on some BFG R/T and I was wondering how the Duratracs held up? How's the wear going on them and how well do they do in mud?

The fuse block is so I can have individual fuses on each accessory and to clean up my wiring. Basically to make it safer. I plan on mounting it in the engine bay to the rear of the battery, I just have to fab up a plate to mount it and the circuit breaker and get some wire for it and then mount it all up.

Thanks! Only have about 6K miles on the Duratracs right now but they look brand new still. The way they're going they should last a very long time. They did great in the mud back when we had all the rain/flood a few months ago, definitely worth it to not have to worry about sliding around at all.

I got it from Amazon. It will be hooked up to my backup lights, seat heaters, TC switch, engine bay lights, toolbox lights, flashlight charger, LED flasher, etc. It's gonna be an interesting time wiring it all up

...is a sweet ride
Installed the LED strips I replaced in my toolbox into my engine bay. Just mounted them on the grille supports and mounted a switch in one of the holes on the passenger side support after running a wire up. Super simple and works great. These are also the "super bright" strips.
Also, did you ever post a close up pic of the tow mirror running light in the daytime…to see where you located it?
