Are you doing the KR grille blacked out? I'm thinking about doing the same. That, or a Grillcraft MX mesh.
Yeah, black grille, ptm surround, and topped off with a moody blue overlay whenever he gets around to me haha. Like this minus the overlay
Thanks Terraformer, yeah LED's were more than worth it.

Looks good. Now I'm thinking about the new STX Sport grille. It's like the 2010-2012 Harley grille but blacked out. Problem is that I paid for 3M coating on my current FX4 surround and the STX sport insert and my FX4 insert wouldn't swap straight across.
Not that this helps your decision of which grille to go with, but I think the black KR grille would be drool worthy with your white haha. White was my first choice but I wasn't going to argue with grey
Damn it, indecision always gets the best of me.

I know it sucks haha. I was like that with tires but I'm set now, just need to pull the trigger. Then I need to figure out if the new grille would look good with deflector or not, I don't think it will so I'll probably drop it. I vote you go with a black KR grille
Got the edges of the taillights painted black. Looks so much better. It's not perfect as I came across some trouble at the very end but I'll get around to fixing it. Barely noticeable though. There's a thread on how to do it it's pretty easy and cheap.
Also, never posted pics of my LED conversion. This is just the outside but you can see the puddles and licence plate lights are LED. Reverse lights are also LED. This is kind of why I don't take pics of the LED swap because they never turn out great. All interior lights are also LED. Maybe a pic of that later if it doesn't turn out like crap

Hey Wolf, so I read all 60 pages of the edge paint mod. And your posts in it.
Question: would you do it again? Was it worth it, even though you apparently couldn't get the inside edge to paint on one light?
I want to try it, but it seems that the glue is the issue - some folks have lots, some none at all - and since it's clear glue, it's hard to gauge how difficult the mod would be until you get to it.
Just to clarify: the paint to get is acrylic black that will paint Lexan, use a syringe, and perhaps a large bristled small brush to get the hard-to-reach areas. Am I missing anything?
TIA
