Figured I would start my second build thread. As some of you know I bought a new to me F150 and my 2007 F150 XLT(black thunder) is up for sale. I now have a 2012, 5.0L white FX4 (white fang). Here is a picture of her front, side and back.

Here is a picture of some of the parts I already have.
-2" HBS level kit
-Towing mirrors
-6 cans of white plasti dip
- I have about a 1.5 cans of black plasti dip and another 1.5 cans of VHT nightshade spray
- The stars are the centre caps from my rockstar rims, you will soon see what I am doing with those

I plan on waiting until the spring to put everything on though. Don't want to put it all on in the winter, with all this dirty snow and salt everywhere.

Plasti-dipping the outer edge of the centre cap white as well as the star in the middle. In between the star and outter edge will be left black. I think it will match the truck nicely and be different from all the other black or machined rockstars out there. I do plan on getting 20" Fuel Mavericks but for the time being I will be using the rockstars.

First picture is starting process, second picture is fully taped and third picture is 2 coats, so far.

You are seriously about 2 months ahead of me. I was planning on doing almost the exact same thing! Only difference is that I plan on doing just the star. Cant wait to see how this turns out!

haha I was planning on doing just the star too but then i kind of thought it might pop more if the outer ring was white with black in-between the both. If i don't like the outer ring white ill just peel it and leave the star white! I work all week so i won't be able to finish it up until upcoming Sunday. Im getting so ancy lol.Ill be sure to pot pics once its all done

I decided to give the Center caps a few more sprays before I took the tape off today. That was a mistake because the paint wasn't settled when I started peeling off the tape causing it to peel abit of the plasti dip. Going to let the rest dry properly for a few days then try again on Christmas.

Here's the one I peeled the tape off so you get the idea of what the rest will look like once they are cured
