YES, get rid of the chrome. I plasti dipped my bumpers but thinking about picking up the FX4 bumpers from a local wrecking yard. Won't be for awhile though.

Yea I thought about plasti dipping the bumpers and maybe puttin vinyl on my tail lights? Don't really wanna night shade them..

I've heard of doing a light coat of plasti dip on the face of the heads and tails but IDK about that one.

Yeah, that's what I'm worried about. Plus it would be a beech to take off because it's not thick enough coat.

Did my taillights with two light coats of plasti dip. To me it looked pretty good. Light output satisfied me and it looked awesome. But ive also seen some really bad jobs with plasti dip on tail lights. Took my plasti dip off like 6 months later. May do it again idk just doesnt seem like worth the risk of an accident.
