Default W4R's 2014 FX2 Build

Well it's finally here! After roughly 6 weeks of waiting, my truck has finally arrived and I couldn't be happier with it. I'm putting it here in the builds thread because I plan on making a few modifications, but they'll most likely be minor.

Ecoboost? Or 5.0? Going to lower it and make it performance wise?

5.0 - definitely won't lower it... might level it if anything. I plan on changing the headlights and possibly the tail lights and third brake light, smoked reflectors on the side mirrors, light tint on front windows and darker all around, spray in bedliner, possibly adding a cover, possibly replacing stock interior lighting with LED's, and way down the road possibly doing a tablet install. I may also plastidip the front and rear Ford logos, but I haven't decided.

As far as performance goes, I have to confess I'm a bit of a newb especially with these computerized machines. I've worked on my '65 mustang for years, but I wouldn't know what to do with these newer engines... I know generally people install cold air intakes and exhaust, but I believe I'm restricted as to what I can do here in CA... not entirely sure though. I'm completely open to suggestions if anyone wants to chime in

Thoroughly enjoying my truck!

I'm in California too. I ordered a Afe Mach Force XP Exhaust and a Airaid CAI. Both Cali Legal.

Here's what I've done so far:

Had a Line X Premium bedliner sprayed in.
Replaced the little carpet floor mats with Weathertech floor liners. The fit is absolutely perfect!
Installed a Pace Edwards bedlocker. The installation was kind of a pain in the *** up until you get the canister set in place... after that it was quite simple. I'm really happy with the way it looks and operates.

I want to get my front windows tinted and really want to plasti dip the Ford front and rear logos red and black, but I need to figure out how to go about removing them first.

Enjoying the heck out of this vehicle!
