Pirelli Scorpion Zero Asimmetrico 305/40/22. Best sport truck tire money can buy IMHO. I’ve probably ran 10 sets of them...it’s the 2nd set on this truck. lol

Been crazy busy with work so I haven’t done much lately. I wanted to soften up the traction bars a bit so I swapped the heim on one end with Ride Tech bushing ends...made a world of difference. That solid connection from the axle to the frame transmitted all kinds of vibrations.
It was also driving me nuts to see all the coolant lines over the pass side valve cover and the catch can just sitting there. The driver side was clean and looked much nicer so I rerouted all the coolant lines out the front under the throttle body and moved the catch can to the other side near the brake booster. There’s only so much I could do but it looks a lot cleaner now.

It sure does look cleaner. I can't even see the catch can anymore. One of the things I like most about the Whipple SC kit is how OE it looks.

I just like that you can almost see the whole motor now. The catch can is on the firewall next to the brake booster now.

Haha...Well that explains it now with the whole picture.

Its hard to tell in a picture how far back the engine actually is. The first time I opened my hood I a little surprised about that.

That's looks like what probably make the Whipple install a little more difficult in a truck. At least yours is lower.

Gonna do some exhaust surgery. Adding the Dynomax as a resonator to tone it down that last little bit I want and reworking the tailpipe from the axle back to be hidden and turned down behind the bumper...kind of right in the corner of the bumper. Pics this weekend. FYI 3.5” piping looks giant. lol

I've been digging around and get mixed input... on your platinum did you remove the entire handles or did you pop the chrome cover pieces off for paint?

Just got caught up through the entire thread.. Very Tasteful Build so far. Great touches through the entire build!

Finally had time to turn my pile of pipes into something useful. Rebuilt the tailpipe to be tucked up out of sight and added the Dynomax muffler for a resonator. I can hear it at idle and under 70mph...anything above and it’s dead quiet...kinda hard to pull off with a 3.5” pipe.
