Today’s fiasco is getting rid of the warped 2-piece junk driveshaft. Ford wants about $450 for a replacement but there on backorder so I’m having a good one built that will be serviceable instead of a throw away. Bad thing is it’s twice the price.

Yea but damn...it’s a lot of money. I wanted to do a 1 piece shaft but it’s too long. Would have been a lot cheaper.

I had a local san Antonio shop build a servicable 1350 u joint steel shaft for $450.

That’s about what a 1 piece shaft would have been. Unfortunately I need 2 piece due to the length.

Yeah that was a 2 piece. Ill check the receipt when i get home but im pretty sure thats what i paid.

What was your original shaft, 1 piece or 2 piece? The one on my 2018 is a 1 piece.
