No real updates lately. This truck has been pissing me off for a while lol. Over a year and a half ago, I started having a vibration around 70-77ish mph. Tires have been static balanced twice by 1 shop, once each by 2 other shops (maybe more), and now the Ford dealer tried using Dynabeads last Friday. Buuuuuuuuut still have the intermittent shakes. I can feel it in the steering wheel and in the seats. Sometimes the passenger seat looks like it's going to shake itself loose. Really, really annoying.
I've read quite a few threads on this with no resolution. I have a slight alignment issue bc my steering wheel isn't centered and pulls a little, but I understand that an alignment shouldn't cause or fix a vibration like this. I've lived with it for so long since it's not my daily driver, and I've been absolutely convinced it's these big tires wearing (started around 25k, now at 40k miles).
Anyway, if this keeps up and can't find a solution, it'll drive me NUTS until I get rid of it.

Minor updates. Took the truck back to the dealer that wanted to try the dynabeads to try a road force balance. Took them like 2 hours to get them much better. Initially, they all were exerting around 75-80 lbs of assembly force. After some high/low wheel/tire alignments and weights added, the best they could get them down to was 45-50 lbs all around. I only had about a 20 mile drive home, but I could definitely feel an improvement. Also had it aligned while there bc the drive side was noticeably out of alignment.
I planned to drive it today on my 100 mile commute to verify the improvement before making a 250 mile each way trip this weekend. But I got a few miles down the road and my freaking driver side headlight went out. WTF?!? So I had to turn around to swap vehicles bc I'm not driving that far and risking the other side going dark too. Pisses me off. Guess I'll be tinkering with it this afternoon to check ballast and bulb.
Always something, but I guess that comes with the territory when you start modifying everything.
