I know, right? Luckily (i guess?) my stock ones aren't wearing super well, lol. Sad thing is I've already had one guy from a previous thing on Craigslist ask about buying them even though I wasn't looking to sell at the time

Huh, can't edit my first post for some reason. Oh well. Since I have the wheels and tires now, just not mounted, my next thing is going to be exhaust.

For cost reasons, plus I kinda like the sound, I'm thinking about going with a muffler delete. Do have mufflers in mind, think my favorite sound is the Flowmaster 40 series, but I don't want to be too loud with the wife and 2 sleeping babies when I get home from work. Can afford muffler swap, don't want to go cat back, but the cheaper price vs sound of the delete is tempting.

Anyone have any opinions?

For my 2p - I like the a rumble that is understated. Vs. the louder pipes. Of course....I'm probably older than you

My wants have definitely changed since driving around in a quite loud 74 F100, but I'd still like to have something that's at least noticeable. Granted it's only from YouTube but the muffler delete seems to just be noticeable at idle and light acceleration, but when you really get on it, kinda get that straight pipe scream.

OK, well I gave in. Couldn't take it no more, so here are the wheels and tires.

Had to trim a little bit off the valance, trimmed a little bit off the rear of the wheel well, and I pulled the rear liner back a little with a zip tie. Came out alright, but the truck looks a lot better IMO. Loving the height of it now too.

There it is! Jk, kinda a before pic. More of a during really.

Well, good news and bad news. (Kinda)

Actually drove the truck today after putting tires on, doesn't feel like any loss of power, that I notice at least, but I am still getting a little rubbing. Appears to be on the driver side on the back of the wheel well, but it's only at a certain angle and hitting bumps. I may try and fix it, but really it's not very bad. Looks awesome though, got quite a few compliments at work too.
