That 1/8" stainless steel sheathing is coming off and I'm also rebuilding the gunnels. She'll look brand new when I'm done.

hey tuna i know u described how to install your rod holder but what kind of hardware did u use and if u used bolts and nuts how the hell do i get to the other side to tighten them? thanks

p.s. built my own like yours and confused on your perfect install compared to mine haha

I built one too I used pliers to hold the nut wile I used my drill to drill the bolt into the but was hard and took a couple trust but managed to do it..

The 6.5' bed has the removable caps ontop of the bed rails to give you access to the back of the hole.

and the 5.5 foot bed trucks have the same pockets you just have to remove the bed rail cap to see it or cut a hole.
