Hey tuna I just did my emblems last weekend, i just taped off and pappered my truck like you seems easier to me

Yeah I hear ya. I had a bad experience with overspray once so I'm very cautious now. I try to remove the emblems if I can, but when I redid them I just taped off around them. Post some pics dude.

No need to worry, acetone works great at removing it. Just don't use too much elbow grease to damage the clear coat. Wash it off with soap and water afterwards.
