Default Truck Yes! '17 Platinum

Hey Gang. I got my '17 a few weeks ago and got the mods started. I didn't want to go crazy, but I am in a Colorado ski town and I wanted to change the wheels and tires as well as improving the suspension. I ended going with Duratracs and method NV wheels.

I am not doing a lot of crazy off roading, but I wanted an improvement in road handling and some off roading as well. I ended going with an Icon Stage 1 suspension. It's been fantastic. Just enough lift to give a good look, and my kids can climb in as well. The suspension feels like a tighter version of the stock suspension. definitely less bounce on the highway, and the truck is more planted on the highway sweepers. Should be doing some off roading soon and I'll report back.

The duratracs are 275/70/18 with absolutely no rub. Despite all the great info on this forum there was a lot of heartache choosing the right wheel size . I happy with the 275's. They fill the wheel well with no mods needed, with the exception of the lift of course

Report back when it snows, curious how those wide tires will perform.

Pretty sure thats the stock width, could be mistaken, but I'm sure they'll do just fine in the snow compared to a 325 or something of that nature.

OP, Great looking truck by the way!

Thanks for the comments. I am not sure if thats a stock width. I am happy to report back once the snow starts falling.
