it does and yes I did pull it down just enough to make sure I had clearance

Covered the bed with a Extang Trifecta 2.0 tonneau cover, piece of cake to install and looks decent.

Finally got the right LED reverse light bulbs from Marsauto. They are very bright. 5 minute install
