Default tonhe's 2012 XLT SCrew Build

I bought my Blue Flame screw back in September of 2013, for the first few months I haven't done too much, but I have certainly been bit by the mod bug. The last month has been a frenzy of add-ons.

Not pictured
  • Roush Catback
  • SCT x4 Programmer with Tunes for Stage3 / 5 Star
  • Airaid CAI (blue filter, looks epic)
  • Lower grille "cover"
  • 2.5" Leveling Kit
  • OEM Raptor Wheels
  • 315/70r17 Cooper Discoverer S/T Maxx tires
  • 2013 Black C-Clamp grille
Wishlist/Todo
  • Paint/Powercoat bumpers black/or match
  • Billet Ford badge for tailgate (mine is peeling already....)
  • Suspension upgrades / 3" lift
  • HID headlights / LED upgrades
  • Window tinting
  • Spray in bed liner
  • Tonneau cover
  • Boss 302 intake? (after warranty expires... )
  • I'm probably missing 100 things...

Here she is the day I bought her. Traded in my 2005 GMC Canyon for something a 6'9" big guy can actually be comfortable in!

First things first.. Plastidip for my badges...

I really love the blue flame paint, I had previously wanted something in grey/silver, but I'm beyond happy with the blue.

Recent additions start here. Some Raptor-eque grill lights.

Roush badge I purchased with my Roush catback... (Need photos of the exhaust still...)

I've also Plastdip'd the front grill to see if I like the look.

wheel and tire combo

I like the chrome grill IMO, good contrast with bumpers and your new oem wheels.

Just ordered a Peragon cover, and I'm planning on scheduling a LineX install for Saturday! Woot!!

I took my oem bedliner out tonight, looks like I need different bolts for the tailgate cover... What a **** design!

Ended up canceling my Peragon cover.... I had concerns regarding the design, and some users complaints over those same things kept eating at me. I didn't want to drill holes in my truck to just return the thing later on...

A friend of mine almost talked me into the Retrax cover, but I ended up ordering an Undercover Flex, it'll be here Tuesday.

My LineX install went great over the weekend. I also installed the Deezee tailgate assist which my wife loves!

Other than the Tonneau, I have the pop and lock power lock kit and the OEM ford bed extender showing up... Lots of focus on the bed this week!

As an update, here is a list that will be current at the end of the week, barring no complications.

  • Roush Catback (and small Roush Badge on tailgate)
  • SCT x4 Programmer with Tunes for Stage3 / 5 Star
  • Airaid CAI (blue filter, looks epic)
  • Lower grille "cover"
  • 2.5" F150Lifts Leveling Kit
  • OEM Raptor Wheels
  • 315/70r17 Cooper Discoverer S/T Maxx tires
  • 2013 Black C-Clamp grille
  • Raptor Style Amber LED Grille Lights
  • LineX Premium - Spray in bed liner
  • Undercover Flex Tonneau cover
  • Black Plastidip Badges
  • Pop and Lock power tailgate lock
  • Ford OEM Bed Extender
What's up next?

I really want to add the rear tow hooks that I've seen people talking about. I also really want to get the windows tinted soon. After that, the only things I really want to do are adding OEM black HIDs, and taillights, paint / linex the bumpers, and upgrade the sound system. Maybe purchase the OEM "My Ford Touch" package, and even get a backup camera! I've seen some pull offs on ebay for the smaller screen... maybe I can find the larger system too!?

Oh, and here is a pic of my bed, post LineX of course...
