Gig em! Lol. I wonder if anyone on here goes all out with Christmas decorations... My aunt posted on FB that they got a "Griswold Tree", the picture she posted is a 6-7' tree, it isn't that big. Lol. I posted a picture of mine on her picture, she didn't say anything. Lol

Yes, the Spray Away from Walmart is tint safe. I use it on all my vehicles tinted windows, have for years.

Haha. I know. See, high school football, and college football are my favorites. I've always been able to watch those. NFL games I've never gotten into.

Might have to try this out. My truck's windshield is filthy, the other windows are better. The work truck is a whole different level though. The guy that had it before me smoked in it all the time so it's a new level of grime on the windows.

Part of me cares, part of me doesn't. It is a company work truck, and a Dodge with the **** shifter at that...

Since it doesn't have tint on anything I may just use something fairly harsh like kitchen cleaner, then follow up with Windex. The windshield for sure needs to be cleaned, when the sun is setting it's getting borderline dangerous it glares so bad.

Howdy y'all, I bought 20x10 -19 Hostile Gauntlets in June 2017. By September 2017 I contacted Discount Tire since I bought them from them to start a finish warranty claim. My wheels look like CRAP. I've been in contact with Discount Tire in Corpus about the wheels looking like they're pitting (but instead of indentions they're raised marks), this was 3 MONTHS after being installed. The manager there has been trying to get Hostile to warranty the finish. The initial answer was that they weren't going to cover the finish on them due to where I lived (Corpus Christi) and the "salty environment", plus they accused me of causing the pitting by using chemicals on the wheels (nothing but at home car wash soap was used on them). These wheels have NEVER been in salt water, and have only been on the beach once or twice (which was promptly cleaned afterward). Regardless, they are an "off-road" wheel, so why would the finish be messed up and not warrantied by being off-road? The manager at Discount went to the returns manager at Hostile after being directed there. After almost 6 months of getting horrible/no response from them, the Discount Tire manager has decided he's sick of it, and is running it up the corporate ladder at Discount Tire. He is also honoring the finish warranty for me, and is ordering me a new set of wheels of my choosing (within reason, of course, no Forces or something crazy like that). I like the look of chrome wheels on my truck, but I'm a little "gun shy" about chrome now. People have obviously ran chrome for years without having the issues I've had, but I'm skeptical to do it again. I'm looking at the Fuel Beast in "dark tint", the Black Rhino Mint in "Gloss Graphite", and debating the Fuel Titan in "Polished" (I plan to call tomorrow to see if they're polished or plated). I know this all is worthless without pics, so here's the pics. Yes, I know the wheels aren't very clean in these pics, that's not the cause of it but it's hard to care about wheels that started looking like this at 4 months let alone around 9 months. This is unacceptable. Obviously most people with Hostile wheels in chrome don't have any issues, so maybe I got a fluke set. Regardless, they don't stand behind their products. I don't intend to ever run Hostile wheels again after this, which is a shame because they have some great looking wheels. I tried to be nice and not blast them online while dealing with the warranty claim, but enough is enough.

Exhaust tip picture is for reference of something else chrome on the truck and how it has held up.

That's really unfortunate, man. Those are nice wheels and it's discouraging to see that happening to them, especially with the amount of money I know you dropped on them.

My folks live in Corpus (out on the Island) and my Dad has had the same issues with the wheels on his vehicles. He previously had an '02 F250 7.3L that had very similar pitting to what you're seeing on yours. He now has a '13 KR F250 that he's had about 2 years and the wheels on that are starting to show signs of pitting. His '01 Jeep Wrangler Sahara are starting to show pitting too. Granted, he's a lot closer to the sal****er and salty air than you and probably is at the beach more too, it's just a tough environment for any metal that isn't stainless or galvanized.

EDIT: Now that I'm seeing your profile, I could've sworn you were in Corpus. You should NOT be seeing that much salt corrosion/pitting in Pearland.

These are some of the contenders for the new wheels

Fuel Titan 20x10-18 Polished

Fuel Beast 20x10-18 Dark Tint

Fuel Beast 18x9+1 on 2015 F-150 KR

Black Rhino Mint 20x10+00 Gloss Graphite
