It was pretty crazy. That was my first time hunting anything, what a way to start! Haha. Saw plenty of deer, but it was night so we couldn't take any. I'm looking to get a deer rifle before next season so I can get into that.

Got bored and looked up my approximate tax return... Possibly in the $5,000 range... I need to opt for being responsible with it...

I'm mainly a bow hunter. Nothing like the challenge of silently drawing a bow, placing a clean shot, staying still and quiet enough to not be detected all while the deer is within 10 yards...

That sounds like a lot of fun as well. I've got a youth compound bow that I've had for years. Well, technically my brother and I share it but I don't know the last time he has even held it.

get one that is properly sized to you... with a little practice your accuracy will be insane. I havent shot in 3 years went out the other day and put up 2 inch groups at 20 yards.

I do pretty good with the youth one, just can't get much distance because the draw is light. The actual size I don't think is much smaller than what I'd need, but the draw definitely is. I may get it restrung if I bring it down to Corpus

gonna need at least a 60-70lb draw weight to down a hog. youth bows have a hard time downing deer.

Yeah I've just been using the youth one for minor target practice, and even then I haven't shot it in probably 2 years. Not sure I'd want to get close enough to a hog to get it with a bow. Lol

The bow i have right now is technically good out to 60 yards... Although I would not feel comfortable taking a shot like that... farthest i'll go is 40 yards.

Not much of a mod, but I added a thin blue line pledge of allegiance sticker.

Exhaust, hit a snag yesterday while talking to the exhaust shop for quote. They advised HEAVILY against running 3" the whole way as I would likely lose a lot of low end torque. So I've kinda gone back to the drawing board on that.

Found another mod I want to take on though, and that is swapping the 2017 F-250 upfitter switches into my truck.

Bonus, had to go to Corpus Christi Speedway to meet a vendor about some fencing, they were late so I took advantage and had a photoshoot.

Watch this link to the 3" vs 2.5" exhaust done by Motor Trends Engine Masters.

.
It'll change your mind on exhaust and prove a lot of myths that shops tell you 5:45 exactly to prove that myth wrong!
