Lol. Fair enough. I was also about $300 off on my pricing. Their bottom tier is black carpet, the middle is vinyl (starts at $600), and leather is top tier (starting at $1000). I'm for sure contacting them to get a price for my box, but no longer 100% that's the route I'm going. I don't really want carpet since I have my dogs in there pretty often, black carpet shows white/brown dog hair like CRAZY.

Subs came in and the boxes look perfect. There's a cardboard insert that looks a little beat up, but the subs have no marks. BUT, just when things were starting to go smoothly over here, I got laid off on Thursday. Came completely out of the blue so I'm now scrambling to find a new job.

Wow that sucks man. Couldn't be worse timing. Keep your head up. Engineers are in high demand. Take the time do some inexpensive house projects to stay busy.

Thanks man. I've got a couple good leads, but nothing super promising at this point. I've got enough to make it through into March without work because my mortgage and truck payments are a month ahead. I do not intend to be completely out of work at that point. If I don't have anything towards the end of February I am not above retail at Home Depot or somewhere while I'm looking for a job.

Yup. What's ironic is pretty much one week before termination I told my mom that my plan of not putting savings back was stupid. Thankfully it's right at income tax time so I'm okay for a bit.

It's alright bud. I think this is the last time I'll need to learn the lesson about saving money. I hope. Lol

Yeah. When I'm not job searching I'm working on cleaning, unpacking, and there's stuff I need to paint/hang. Mostly trim out the top of the door frames. I actually snagged pretty much the exact color I had picked for the laundry room for $9 for one gallon from Home Depot because it was "oops" paint. Lol

It's alright. I'm sure it'll all work out, just a huge pain in the *** in the meantime. Lol

Sounds like you're keeping a good attitude about it, keep doing that. Hope something good shows up for ya, all this might turn out to be for the better.
