Definitely should have deployed... aside from the obvious how bad is the damage?

I was thinking they should have deployed as well... The truck did it's job though and kept him safe, even though the airbags didn't deploy.

He hasn't heard from insurance yet. I'm seeing hood, fender, radiator, radiator supports, headlight, headlight trim, bumper, grill, and obviously the bumper. The frame is bent judging from the tow hooks, and the e-fans are likely broken.

This is what my 6.4 looked like and it was about $7000 worth of damage and that truck looks way worse.

I'm thinking 20K+ on his. He owes 27K, and the KBB private party has is at 37K. It'll be interesting to hear what insurance decides. He told me last night that the frame horn is bent and that the weld on it is broken. I'm really thinking it's totaled, and he needs to be asking some serious questions about why the airbags didn't deploy.

You can't really tell in that picture but the tow hook bent the frame up and the body guy heated it up and bent it back down. I also made him replace everything with new oem parts and the insurance let him even though it's a 9 year old truck but with less than 40,000 miles. His best bet is to hope they total it because they are never "right" after being in a wreck.

My fear is they're going to opt for repairing the frame, especially since it's the front. Either way, if it got repaired I'd sell it in a heartbeat and buy something else. Same reason you said, it's never "right" after that.

Forgot to post this one the other day. Shows my baby lean going on.

Not a fan of the reverse rake, but otherwise looks good.
