So I ordered and installed a driver side sun visor from a XLT so I could have a mirror. So dumb that they put a mirror on the passenger side visor and not the driver side.
Also pulled my rattle can mirror caps off and am going to send them off for professional paint along with a tailgate handle lever. The paint was not a perfect match and the place I got if from will not guarantee a perfect match with the next can, so screw that. I am using the same painter that did my emblems and that match is 100% perfect. May do the door handles in the spring.

I think I might know what happened. Your "guy" told me, when I was PTMing my badge inserts on the '12, that possibly the texture was throwing things off. I had the same problem. I got another set of badges, took then apart, and sanded off the texture. Then had my guy shoot them the same time he did my last grille. Your "guy" was right, they came out perfect.

That's all true too. Your "guy" knows what he's doing, we've all seen his work.
Your Dad is a body guy?!?!? Why do don't you just shave it? I know you like that too. Dad likely wouldn't get you on the cost either. He'd be doing it for "his" boy!
Rotator cuff, crap, I'm getting whole right shoulder replaced early next year. I know exactly how Dad feels, lack of mobility, decreased strength, the pain, the hole %^(&ing nine yards. Makes wrench turning not really enjoyable anymore.

My dad painted all my Vermillion stuff on my 07. After he retired from the Army, he got a part-time job at a place that repairs wrecked vehicles. He did about 8-10 a year on his own time, but he is 67 and needs to slow it down (bad shoulders, hands and wears hearing aids from all the pneumatic stuff). He also restores old toy metal cars/trucks/semis and plans to turn his home shop into a place where he can do that as a hobby.

LOL, hey, I'm 67 too. Trying NOT to slow down!! But some things ya just have to do slower and smarter. Like lowering, instead of lifting!!
