Summers22 STX Lightning Blue build

My son came over to watch my youngest and he was driving. I video taped his and we determined the ATAK is much more raspy and louder where as my XR-1 isnt raspy but deeper and not near as loud. Oh and he does have a nice SCT X4 on it with custom tunes from MPT......thanks buddy!

Sounds good Jon. I'll bet once it gets burned in, you might be close to being as loud as the ATAK, but deeper sounding. I'd lay my money on you're going to like it even more. Those packed Borlas just seem to get better the more you run them. And the best, zero drone.

Strange, I've been meaning to ask about that. Were you able to keep those tunes on it?

You are right, absolutely zero drone with this muffler.

3 tunes for $100, good deal. He'll like that 91PRX, it's just about the same as the 93PRX. If he can get corn fuel, it'll turn on even more.

Ya, I'm not sure on that either, the reviews and concerns I've read left me confused. If it really is a good one, I can see the advantage. Does he work with you for options like trans shifting modifications like MPT/5*?

Just went to his website, it doesn't look like there is anything for my engine. I did send an email, to see if he plans on anything.

Sounds real good man- nice and throaty like a 5.0 should.I know the muffler was just installed when you get chance to run highway speeds and then decelerate let us know if there is any exhaust popping sounds? Resonator will also help that. Did you buy from a forum vendor? Tks- Steve
