Excellent build so far! Just read the whole thing, and loved seeing Osage county tags! I'm up in KC area but we are at Melvern lake 11 months out of the year and love it down there. Now I can keep track of this thread and get some ideas haha

Haha none taken, when I signed up for this forum I decided it was about time I switched to a new username after about a decade and a dozen different forums under the old name. Am excited to see what the new heads will look like without any amber turn housings (and those pesky amber-coloured reflector panels on the inner wall of the housings, those drive me up the wall!).

On a side note, were the rear 5100s easy to install? I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on a rear set this weekend but hopefully I can do it with common tools and a torque wrench. Obviously when I finally make up my mind on front 5100s vs 6112s I'll take it to the shop to get it installed professionally but I've been hearing that the rears are easily doable by anybody.

Was the tasca price better then the eBay price? Pm if you want to. I'm interested in a set too. Maybe we can get them cheaper if we buy 2 sets?

They were super easy to install with a wrench and a ratchet/socket. I was done in about 20 minutes.

Awesome! I have family in KC and Melvern is where we hang out, camp, fish, etc. Mostly Turkey Point for camping.

Yes, about $326 shipped for the pair.

Gotcha. We mostly camp at Eisenhower or the outlet but are down on the west end of the lake for hunting.

Yep, Sundance. There is a nice little underwater channel running through there under the bridge. If you catch it just right, catfish heaven!!!
