Gives the phrase "it's the most wonderful time of the year" a whole different meaning. I grew up on the south shore of Lake Erie and between that and other cold weather *adventures*, including a year TDY in New Mogadishu......err....Chicago, I've had all the snow I want. If I want to see it I will go to it. Not have it show up and stay for 4 or 5 months.

Personally, I prefer the east side of I-19 to the west side. Either way you can't lose. Given the elevation is a little higher than Phoenix it won't be as brutally hot in the summer. You might get snow on rare occasion but if it lasts more than a day that would be a long time.

So this just happened. The family is gone shopping, its 65 degrees and 38% humidity. Now for a 24 hour cure, and looks like just a mild buff will be needed. Really happy with them. My dad tore his rotator cuff so is out of commission for a while. He told me where to get the paint locally. All in all, about $60 in paint, primer/adhesion promoter and sand paper. Took about an hour of sanding each first 150, then 400, then green scuff pad, washing in between each grade and of course prep wipes before primer/promoter, then 400 grit sanding after 3 coats of primer, then prep wipe and 4 coats of paint.
