Hey Summers- Tell your buddies at Heartland Park thanks for paying their county back taxes this year to keep that great facility open. I had a good year there which just ended in mid Oct. Even got to race a fellow forum member from Grove, Ok. He is a real sore *****hole, wouldn't give me his screen name. Anyway it's a great track.

Didn't mean to butt in on your thread, I remember you said you are not far from Topeka. Good luck with the wheels.

I work across the street from Heartland Park! Its under new ownership, hope this group keeps up with the taxes this time. Next time you are around, let me know. Topeka is okay to work in, but I will NEVER live there, lol.

Back on track. Oh the joys of a vinyl floor. Developed an annoying rubbing sound over the last few days (cold weather, 25 degree temps). My driver seat started making the noise. I traced it down to the seat trim on the sides rubbing the vinyl floor. I cut some black carpet I used for making speaker boxes a while back. 1"x15", ran it under the trim and floor, bam no more ribbing noise. Time to order a full carpet kit I suppose........

tfw STX bestows upon you the ultimate luxury of Sync 3 touchscreen goodness...but gives you a barrel-scraping vinyl floor lol -

does it keep clean a lot better than carpet?

I thought powertrain was 36,000 mile/3 years, and bumper to bumper was 100,000 mile/5 years?

I guess, gotta clean it just as much by wiping it down vs vacuuming.
