Can you buy pre-painted flares?

I did the same thing....are you planning on mounting them with factory clips or VHB tape?

I am doing the same as I did on my 07. Mount with the existing fender hardware, and use painters tape to pull everything flush. Then drill holes and use christmas tree style automotive push pins. I will paint the holes with some touch up paint to seal the drilled section of metal. Then fill that hole with silicone and insert the push pins. Mine appear brand new, never used but have the clips all along the back.

That's what I did also. I tried one fender with 3M tape & immediately realized I wasn't going to be happy with the results, so I drilled & used factory clips.

Oh, wow. Did you have a template to use to drill the holes? My holes I drill will be in the fender lip, not fender side.
