So my 20 year old son is officially a big boy. He has had a 96 x-cab 2wd Ranger for 5 years. Well he smoked a deer a couple months back and he has slowly rebuilt it and its almost ready for paint. He bought a 92 Toyota 4x4 as a beater. He decided to step it up a little a few weeks ago and today I took him to Olathe, KS to buy a 2013 F150 Supercrew XLT 4x4. It has the 5.0 with 3.55 axle. It did just turn 100k but has been fully serviced by the dealer. He got it for $19k. Its a fairly good deal, not the best ever, but not many trucks at 100K in his under 20K price range. It should serve him well!
Also today I checked my tire pressure since the new wheels. Holy cow, the tech had 40 psi in all 4!! WTF!! Door jamb says 35 psi cold. So I adjusted them all. I thought I was feeling a little more road noise than before.
His plans are color matched bumpers, STX grille, SCT with MPT tunes, already bought a Borla ATAK muffler, Katskinz, level, custom wheels and tires, window tint, sound system and not sure what else.
