I love using a clay bar on my truck, but I've only done the horizontal surfaces; the hood and the roof. But the difference! is always amazing. I try to do that at least once every six months.

Looking good! Jon.

I like the mit, much easier than a bar for sure. It was a little warm for claying, so I had to use extra lube, next time will be with soapy wash water.

Thanks, Dave, for bringing this to our attention. I've seen some of the regional damage on the tv.

Thinking of you and your family, Jon. Hope the worst of it passes you by.

Yeah, we are good. Big tornado went about 10 miles east of us. They sounded the sirens for our county and we took cover for an hour or so. A couple co-workers and friends have damage, but nothing is a total loss for them. All I know is this was way to close for comfort.......thank you for thinking of us! So many pictures of houses gone off of foundations and an entire town destroyed, Linwood, KS. Lawrence and Eudora got hit hard as well.

Had one (the one that went through Carl Junction MO) miss us by 5 miles last week. Glad you are all safe. It's been a crazy May, that's for sure.

Yep, not much to report on the truck. Except I am pleased with the AFE bias adjustment. Hand calculated my last tank was 18.668 and the truck showed 18.7. Can't get much better than that!

Really not much I want to do to the truck mod wise now anyway. Want to focus some $$$ on more landscaping in the back yard and saving for a new roof (yes, tear off and install will he done by me) unless a hailstorm gets it......already has 3 layers on it, so they have to go.

I appreciate you all being concerned, thats what makes this place great!

It's a good thing to enjoy one's truck after putting so much attention to detail, hard work and a little $ into it. Drive it for a year.

We want to give our back yard a makeover and do the roof, too.

So I adjusted my whatever-it-is based on paper calc vs. LOM (truck was 1.5 mpg optimistic) and now it's 1 mpg the other way. *headscratch* I may split the difference between 900-whatever I set it to and the 1000 it was.

I'm usually much more precise. Dunno wha happn. d'oh.
