@johnday Got around to pulling my rear shocks. Pulled them and put them in my vise. Sanded with with 120 then 400 in a sawing motion. Then used a wire wheel on my dremel to get the top bolt area. Then 5 coats of Duplicolor wheel clear. Much nicer!

Much better Jon, look like new. I'll be doing the same shortly, starting to warm up finally.

After seeing how nice yours turned out and how dirty mine got since last year I have another project.

Those came out great Jon! 5100’s? I’d like to do mine also but I’d want to get new decals for them if I do. I like to leave Mfgr branding on aftermarket and performance parts. Those look better than new. Good job Brother!

Yes, 5100's. They were terrible after this second winter. While they are not 100% (still a line from the boots, which I removed and left off) they look pretty dang good. THis pic was after the 1st coat of clear. I did 5 total and am really happy with the finished product.

Honestly I expected the rear to go down to level before I thought you'd lift the front and put new tires on so soon. Lol. Looks good though! I need to do some cleaning on my BOSS shocks, they look pretty dirty after 40,000 miles.

Wow, looks great. I finally got a chance to go back and read through some of the thread. Sure a lot different than when it first hit your driveway.

Just received an email from Bilstein, if you send them your shock part numbers and address they will send you new decals for your shocks.

Actually it did with the Ford Performance lowering shackles. I think level with these tires is the look I wanted all along. Took me telling that devil on my shoulder that he won.....
