So I have sworn off any more expensive mods. My daughter got in a "predicament" and lets say, I feel obligated to help her out financially. With that said, mods over $100 or so won't be taking place any time in the near future.
But now I have a situation. A guy on a facebook group reached out to me. He has a front and rear oval, lightning blue and gloss black that he bought from OEMpartsgrp on ebay. Well, they were to be lightning blue and matte black, but the seller refused to work with the guy. So he asked if i would give him $100, shipped. I offered $75, because one has a slight paint imperfection (grille emblem). My question is, what do you guys think these are worth? Pics attached. Last pic show imperfection on grille emblem.

I'm not seeing the paint imperfection Jon. I think they would look great on your rig. If you can get them for $75, I say do it!

Hope things turn for the better for her Jon, I know you're very family oriented, so, of course you'd do what you can. She's got a good Dad.
On the emblem, is the blem there on the blue? We're both pretty picky, $75 I might do it. Only thing is you'll know it's there. Not Mikes work, like we're both used to.

Thank you John. My truck is second fiddle to her needs now. Anyway, yes, on the blue. Definitely not Mikes work and I feel almost shameful for considering these, but they are more than 1/2 his cost and the seller does have 100% feedback on ebay. The guy selling them reached out to me and was nice enough to tell me the paint issue and where he bought them. Seems like a stand up guy. I just hate to get screwed over with worthless emblems. But my thinking is at least the tailgate emblem would look good, lol.

Now I see it! Hardly noticeable. Will he go $85? I don’t think anybody will look that closely to even notice it.
