The Explorer had 72k on it.......its a 16. The Flex is actually a 14 with 40k on it. At times the Explorer was way to small for our needs and with the AWD, mpg was always around 18. Taxes were outrageous at $800 per year. We bought it in somewhat of a rush a year and a half ago and have never really fallen in love with it. So my wife asked that we start looking for something else with lower miles. After she drove a Flex, she was hooked, but I insisted on certain colors. This combo was one and with the miles and price, plus being a CPO, it was a no brainer. Will post pics soon.

Correct. Yea Kansas. And if you buy a vehicle in a different county than you live you pay the sales tax of that county at purchase . When you take the vehicle home and register it and your county has a higher sales tax you pay the difference.

Down here in Texas you just pay sales tax, then a $50 registration fee yearly. Doesn't matter what county you purchase in. If you purchase out of state you MAY owe tax, but if you paid more tax in a different state than we charge here, you owe nothing. God bless Texas!

The Flex is one of those vehicles that you either love or hate. My father-in-law loves his and is disappointed that they're going to stop making them. Can't beat the cargo size for a vehicle that is low and easy to get into. They're really popular in Michigan, but seems like they don't sell as well in other parts of the country.
