Make sure you watch your hands when working with the seats. The frame and other parts are razor sharp.
Thanks for the advice, but I had to learn first hand a few months ago.......Tore apart my seat and a seat with 10 way power and swapped over all the fabric/foam. Several nice cuts, lol

Those Katzkins are positively beautiful as is the rest of your truck, all the time <3

Do your vinyl floors still "squeak" or is it better now with the mats?

Thanks nubbins! They dont squeak because I put a 1" wide by about 14" long strip of black carpet under the seat base trim.

I'm guessing by the maddening schedule of a full time dad, besides ya know, working for a living, and trying to find time for the truck, carpet probably isn't going to be in the plans based on doing the seats in sections? I could see just pulling them all out and doing the carpet while you have all the seats out, but the better plan, as you note, would be to do the seats a couple days apart which would derail the full carpet plan. I guess you could always go back and add the carpet later, when live is less chaotic, if that ever happens. By then you'll be a pro and popping seats in and out.

You nailed it! Carpet is not a priority anyway.

I hear ya, but I'm a busy man, lol. Was going to do passenger seat after work today. Well 30mph wind and 45 degree temps put an end to that. Plus I needed to help the wife make some centerpieces for my middle daughter's graduation party. Well, I made them and hope to have some free time this weekend. Tomorrow my 14 year olds have a jr high track meet, Friday is PTO carnival and a 5 game guarantee 14U softball tourney in KCMO this weekend. Good news is the weather is looking warmer next week.

Well, install will be delayed a bit. Talked with the wife and I only want to tear the seats out one more time. So a carpet kit from ACC is on the way. Should be here next Wednesday and then will install over the course of a weekend. Waiting sucks, but its the best option. Now to find a write up on taking out the center console........
