Well guys, add me to the Katzkin club! Just ordered black covers with stone stitching and perforated inserts. I already know, this is going to make me want to order a carpet kit, shhhhhh, don't tell my wife about the carpet......LOL

Should look exactly like these (except with a 10 way power seat :

Yes Mike, installing myself, and most likely will employ my 20 year old son (the one with a 2013 F150). He has a set of OEM black leather covers to install on his. So we are going to help each other. I have stripped down my driver seat twice now, so I kind of know what to expect with taking the seats out and removing the fabric, but will need to learn how to do the clips. His seats will use regular hog rings. I got a great deal on these and couldn't pass it up.

Get yourself or maybe you can rent a steamer. I bought this one, it was a little expensive but have a boat, and Corvette seats recover at some point. You can find much cheaper ones.

You can use steam to expand the foam. My foam was less then a month or two old and when I applied steam to it grew a lot which makes for a nice fit.

The steam will also cause the leather to shrink and tighten up. Its nearly impossible to hurt the leather/vinyl with it where a heat gun can get way too hot and burn.

Spend a lot of time in the area of the side air bags. This is IMO where the Katzskins fit is not the best. My drivers side looks pretty good, the passenger side not as much.

I only had two seats and the jump seats to do and my hands were a mess when I was done. The jump seat and console cover was the worst. He won't have to deal with that.

I posted it in my build thread...The worst part is when you're done with the seat you have to cut holes for headrest pegs. I was sweating bullets taking roofing knife to these gorgeous perfect seats.
